I changed the following from above, but the ISO only booted under an UEFI setup (not MBR):īoot Image: H:\efi\microsoft\boot\efisys.binīawalker. I set the following, but the ISO only booted under an MBR setup: I CAN make the ISO to be bootable for either UEFI or MBR, but not both. I then choose the Advanced tab and bootable sub-tab to enable the ISO to be bootable. I select the root of the USB drive as the source of the files, I give it a destination ISO file to create. I tried to do this using ImgBurn to create an "image from file/folder", but could only get a file that was either UEFI bootable and not MBR, or MBR bootable and not UEFI.Ĭan someone assist me in how to make it both UEFI AND MBR bootable? My goal is to create a bootable image backup of that flash drive to store on my NAS in the event that the flash drive goes bad. This USB drive works both for booting under UEFI and MBR bios configurations successfully. I have a Windows 10 bootable USB flash drive for one of my OEM systems here. I need input on an issue that I've been stuck on for the past day and half.
